Super Gardens and GreenMakers about to join forces – CFO – Vas Banschikov

We are pleased to announce that effective 1st April 2018 the successful Greenmakers company, led by David Cole and his team will merge with Super Gardens. We are delighted to welcome all the Greenmakers staff to the Super Gardens team!

The merger has created an opportunity to establish Super Sports Turf and Leisure Division demonstrating the continuation of growth of grounds management and landscape construction services over the last 29 years. The combining of resources will further strengthen our position within the growing sports and leisure grounds markets.

For clients, the merger between Greenmakers and Super Gardens adds to our extensive range of horticulture services and brings another level of expertise and experience to the business.

For our staff, the merger creates many new opportunities for career advancement and additional apprenticeships in Sports Turf Management and other areas within Super Gardens.

A message from Ian Griffiths – Director

Hello all,

It has been quite a busy start to the new year. We have well and truly settled into our new premises at Mulgrave and charged ahead without skipping a beat.  Thank you to our awesome team for all your energy and commitment in regard to this.

2018 has commenced with a lot of promise. In line with our strategic plan, we are focused and committed to growing the Grounds Maintenance division organically or through acquisitions of closely aligned businesses.

We have recently joined forces with Greenmakers – a fine turf management business with vast experience and expertise servicing golf courses, sports clubs and high end residential properties.  Stay tuned as we make further inroads in establishing our footprint in this area.

We also have a renewed focus on implementing a robust Apprenticeship Program for those wishing to join our industry and value the contribution we make to employing those in our local communities.  Super Gardens sees this involvement as imperative to sustaining our industry and developing future leaders within.  We monitor our programs closely with a view to enabling our Apprentices to take every advantage of the various facets of our business and encourage their contributions in improving our systems and processes continually.

This leads us to our Health and Safety Records which again, I am proud to say is excellent.  Without the buy in from our team to adhere to our standards and prevailing culture, this would not be possible. As Directors – who themselves have family working within the business, HSEQ matters are of great importance.  Again, thank you for your part in contributing to a safe working environment.

As a company that heavily invests in maintaining our third party accreditation for Environment, Quality, Health and Safety we continue to rely on these standards to benchmark our systems and processes in delivering a high level of customer service.  In this regard, we continue to “raise the bar” for all stakeholders.

With summer coming to a close, I wish you all an enjoyable Autumn.

Warm Regards,

Ian Griffiths – Director.
